were Sold in March 2022

In March 2022, 134 thousand 170 Turkish real estate sales transactions were made throughout Turkey.

 

Housing sales across Turkey increased by 20.6% in March 2022 compared to the same month of 2021 and amounted to 134 thousand 170 houses.

 

According to the eagerly awaited figures, the megacity Istanbul had the highest share in the real estate sales with 23,974 house sales and 19.09%.

Again, according to the officially announced data, the megacity Istanbul was followed by the capital Ankara with 12 thousand 609 house sales and 9.4% share, and Izmir with 8 thousand 51 house sales and 6.0% share.

According to the highly anticipated data, the cities with the lowest number of house sales were, respectively Ardahan with 25 houses, Bayburt with 82 houses and Tunceli with 103 houses.

 

 

The Number of Newly Built Turkish Real Estate Sales was 38 Thousand 337

 

According to the highly anticipated data, the number of newly built housing sales in Turkey increased by 14.09% in March 2022 compared to the same month of 2021 and was 38 thousand 337 houses.

According to the officially announced data, the share of new house sales in total house sales was 28.6%.

 

95 thousand 833 Resale Houses Sold in March 2022

 

Resale real estate sales across the country increased by 23.1% in March 2022 compared to the same month of 2021 and became 95 thousand 833 houses. The share of resale house sales in total real estate sales in Turkey was 71.4%.

 

5 Thousand 567 Real Estate were Sold to Foreigners in March

 

Turkish real estate sales to foreigners increased by 31.0% in March 2022 compared to the same month of 2021 and amounted to 5 thousand 567 houses. In March 2022, the share of house sales to foreigners in total house sales was 4.1%. The megacity Istanbul took first place in housing sales to foreigners with the sales of 2,245 houses. The megacity Istanbul was followed by Antalya, the favorite place of holidaymakers, with sales of 1,434 houses, and Ankara, the capital city, with the sales of 347 houses.

 

Most Real Estate Sales were made to Iranian Citizens

 

In Mart 2022, Iranian citizens purchased a total of 784 real estates in Turkey. According to the officially announced data, Iranian citizens were followed by Iraq citizens with 771 houses and Russian Federation citizens with 547 houses.

 

 

 

2 Million 118 Thousand Real Estates were Sold in 9 Months in Turkey

 

In the January-September period of 2021, 2 million 118 thousand 963 real estate sales transactions were made throughout Turkey, and 14 billion 483 million 486 thousand 736 Turkish Liras title deed fee income was obtained.

 

According to the information obtained by the AA reporter from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, 316,818 Turkey real estate sales transactions were made in September 2021.

 

307 thousand 980 real estate sales transactions in August 2021 and the number of real estates sales transactions increased by 2.86% in September compared to August.

 

In September 2021, 2 billion 209 million 892 thousand 290 Turkish Liras title deed fee income was obtained from these sales transactions.

 

The Province with the Most Real Estate Sales Transactions is Istanbul!

 

2 million 118 thousand 963 real estate sales transactions were made throughout Turkey in the January-September period of 2021. 14 billion 483 million 486 thousand 736 Turkish Liras were obtained from the title deed fee income of these transactions.

 

Of these transactions, 919 thousand 972 were housing units, 375 thousand 986 lands, 573 thousand 982 fields, 93 thousand 649 offices and commercial units and the rest were other immovable types.

 

Among the provinces with the most real estate sales transactions, Istanbul took 1st place with 265 thousand 419 sales.

 

Istanbul was followed by Ankara with 141 thousand 698 sales, Izmir with 98 thousand 330 sales, Antalya with 76 thousand 486 sales, Konya with 71 thousand 782 sales, Bursa with 71 thousand 449 sales.
