Foreign Ministry representative Hami Aksoy, reported that 5 European counties got the visa exemption by providing the aim of the development of bilateral relations with these countries and to improve the potential for tourism and other fields.

Hami Aksoy, announced that " In order to ensure the integrity of our visa regime for members of the European Union (EU) and the Schengen region, Croatia, Ireland, Malta, Portugal and Norwegian nationals from March 2 to leisure travels will carry Turkey, providing for a visa exemption for every 180 days to 90 days to It has been decided."

Just citizens of 66 countries are exempt from visa for a maximum of 90 days, Russia are exempt from visa for a maximum of 60 days and citizens of 11 countries are exempt from visa for a maximum of 30 days.
