World’s First Mass-produced Driverless
Electric Bus by Turkish Engineers

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan went to the Cabinet meeting with Atak Electric. He is the first Passenger of the world's first mass-produced driverless electric bus developed by Turkish engineers.

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has participated in the test drive of Turkey's driverless bus. Erdogan shared his opinions about the vehicle and said, "This is a source of pride for our country."

Erdogan shared the footage of the electric bus on his Twitter account during the test drive of the electric bus at the Presidential Complex. He said, “We are going to our cabinet meeting with Atak Electric, the world's first mass-produced 4th-level driverless electric bus developed by Turkish engineers,".

 

Erdogan, who later had a statement to the journalists about the test drive, said, "I have faith in the companies that produce driverless electric buses, they will announce the name of our country and our brands in this sector".

 

Erdogan stated, "The length of the current vehicle is 8 meters and there is no problem of sound, etc…Especially as artificial intelligence, it is sensitive to both pedestrians and traffic signals".
