Turkish Contractors are
Ranked 3rd in the World!

The World's Top 250 Contractors list has been announced. Turkey ranked 3^rd in the list, where China ranked 1^st and the United States 2^nd.

Turkey, which has signed successful works in the real estate sector, ranked in the top three in the World's Top 250 Contractors list.

Turkey, which maintained its 2^nd place in the list where China ranks 1^st in the light of 2020 data, has declined to 3^rd place in the 2021 list.

American contracting firms took 2^nd place. There are 41 companies from America and 40 companies from Turkey. Last year, 35 companies from the USA and 44 companies from Turkey participated in the Top 250 Contractors list.

Although this single company difference in the new list has changed Turkey's place, it has been interpreted that Turkey 'protects' its performance despite many reasons such as business conditions in the world under the Covid-19 epidemic and rapid increase in good prices.

Accordingly the top 10 Turkish companies in the list, respectively are Ronesans Construction, Limak, Ant Construction, Yapi Merkezi, Enka, Tekfen, Onur Construction, TAV, Nurol and Esta Construction. These companies also moved up their positions in the general ranking.

Global Share of Turkish Contractors has Decreased!

Among the top 250 contracting companies with the highest revenue in 2019, 44 Turkish contracting companies were found and these companies had a 4.6% share in the global market with a revenue of 21.6 billion dollars.

Thus, Turkey, which ranks 7^th in terms of revenues, ranked 8^th in 2020 with its global share decreasing to 4.4%. While the share of the USA is 4.9%t, China is in 1^st place with 25%.

In general, there was no change for the companies in the top 25 of the list. According to ENR, 145 contracting companies have less international earnings in this year's list. 91 companies listed this year increased their cumulative workload, 75 decreased and 41 remained stable.
