Investment will Increase to 400,000$

The value of the Turkey real estate to be purchased for the acquisition of Turkish citizenship is going to increase.

The value of the real estate to be purchased for obtaining citizenship will be increased from 250 thousand dollars to 400 thousand dollars.

The regulation was discussed at the Cabinet meeting chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

It was decided to increase the real estate value to be purchased for the acquisition of Turkish citizenship from 250 thousand dollars to 400 thousand dollars.

It will not be enough to buy real estate in the amount of 400 thousand dollars or equivalent foreign currency for citizenship application.

For 3 Years, Transfer and Cancellation will not be possible!

The purchased immovable property for sale in Turkey must have an annotation that it cannot be sold for 3 years in the title deed. In addition, it is necessary to get a document from the notary that 3 years of transfer and cancellation cannot be made.

If the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change determines that the conditions are met and give the Certificate of Conformity, the applicants will be able to acquire Turkish citizenship by the decision of the President.

In order for the decision taken to be implemented, amendments are expected to be made in the Regulation on the Implementation of the Turkish Citizenship Law.
