Approximately 3.5 Million Real Estate Sales
Transactions were made in Turkey in 2022!

According to the official data announced, in 2022, a total of 3 million, 434 thousand, 389 real estate sales transactions were made in Turkey.

The total revenue generated from these transactions was 41 billion, 555 million, 205 thousand, and 953 Turkish Lira.

The figures provided indicate that 436 thousand 721 real estate sales transactions took place and the total revenue generated from these transactions was 6 billion, 411 million, 106 thousand, and 486 Turkish Lira. These figures suggest a high level of real estate activity during the given period.

Again, according to the details, 193 thousand 402 of the transactions were residences, 71 thousand 19 were land, 116 thousand 687 were fields, 24 thousand 879 were workplaces and the rest were other immovable properties.

The number of Turkish real estate sales transactions increased by 49% compared to November where 292 thousand 493 real estate sales transactions were carried out last month.

In the January-December 2022 period, a total of 3 million 434 thousand 389 real estate sales transactions were carried out throughout Turkey, and 41 billion 555 million 205 thousand 953 Turkish Lira Title Deed fee income was obtained.

Istanbul is the Top Among the 10 Cities with the Most Sales Transactions

Among the top 10 cities with the most real estate sales transactions in 2022, the mega city Istanbul ranked first with 416,717 sales. 

The mega city Istanbul followed by the capital Ankara with 214 thousand 53, Izmir with 169 thousand 987, Antalya, the favorite of holidaymakers with 131 thousand 838.

Bursa with 124 thousand 190, Konya with 107 thousand 355, Gaziantep with 85 thousand 615, Kocaeli with 85 thousand 290,  Balikesir with 84 thousand 921 and Tekirdag with 83 thousand 983.

The General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre made 2.5 million in real estate sales in 2019, 2 million 750 thousand in 2020, and 3 million 20 thousand 416 real estate sales in 2021. In 2021, 24 billion 319 million Turkish Liras of fee income was provided.
